Palpitating right down to left up
Marking the unnoticed ghost
Of time. Faithfully and steady.
Reminds us of our appointments
Promises and meetings kept.
And those perhaps forgotten.
Ticking and tocking, a silent
Invigilator of flow of life.
From new to firm to wrinkly.
